Sources and licenses
Isopleth returns facts from public datasets. Each field in a response carries its source,
license and attribution. Your obligations follow the source's license:
- U.S. federal public domain: free to use; we ask you to credit the agency.
- CC BY (NREL, JRC and others): you must credit the source when you show or share the data.
- ODbL 1.0 (OpenStreetMap, Overture transportation and buildings, Open Infrastructure Map): you must credit "© OpenStreetMap contributors" (and Overture where listed). You may use values in your product, but you may not use the API to extract or rebuild a substantial part of the underlying database; if you publicly share a database derived from ODbL values, the ODbL share-alike terms apply to it.
- Copernicus, CDLA-Permissive, state records, citation requests: credit as shown below.
- Derived: computed by Isopleth from the public inputs named in the field notes.
No government agency, university or data provider endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Isopleth or Luxitag LLC.
